Motueka airport (20 minutes by car from Edenhouse) is the home of an aerobatic, open cockpit Pitts Special Biplane, the world's most popular aerobatic aircraft and the only one of its kind in New Zealand. Learn the basics of flying this fabulous little dynamo and within minutes you will be piloting it yourself and performing aerobatic manoeuvres such as loops and barrel rolls. No previous experience required and you are, of course, flying with a qualified instructor.
